Over the last 7 years or so, I have been asked for more and more information about wireless applications–everything from specifications of wireless transceivers to definitions of wireless terminology. The problem was, the information they were asking for wasn’t in one location nor was it categorized for ease of searching. I searched the web for any good informational sites but could not locate one that told the whole story.

So, I decided to remedy the situation and develop a central repository of all the bits and pieces and place it on the Internet for all to see. Wireless-Maven.com is a moving target — a work in progress since the technology is constantly evolving. As speeds keep getting faster and prices keep falling, more businesses are beginning to reap the benefits of broadband wireless bridges–often referred to as wireless backhaul.

I’ve been involved in the datacomm industry for over 27 years, and these are by far some of the most exciting times I can remember. The technology is evolving rapidly making it more difficult to keep up with all the current trends. On this site, there will be discussions, case studies, tech articles, and more to help make decision making a lot easier. Add this site to your RSS feeds for the most up to date information. In June, we launched www.RADProductsOnline.com to provide a broader web presence for RAD Data Communications products. RAD, a leader in multi-service access products, has well over three thousand product/product variations in it’s cataglog that you can download from our site.
